Non-Running Mopeds

Upon drop off; every non-running moped will be tested to confirm that

  • the piston is able to move freely
  • the piston has tangible compression
  • a spark is present.

This will be completed as a complementary diagnostic service. If all three of these conditions are met, the customer is eligible for the Primary Service (see below).

Spark Restoration / Top End Rebuild

If the moped does not have spark, the price to troubleshoot and restore spark is $90 + parts. The $90 spark restoration labor charge will be due in full upon drop off. Any parts needed will be charged upon pick up. This must be completed in conjunction with the Primary Service.

If the piston is not free or has poor compression; the price to remove, inspect, and rebuild the top end is a flat rate of $150. The $150 top end rebuild labor charge will be due in full upon drop off. Any parts needed will be charged upon pick up. This must be completed in conjunction with the primary service.
